Blues\/RnB\/Soul band led by Bill Troiani from the US. If you are familiar with the Norwegian blues community, you are almost certainly familiar with this band that grew out of the house band at the old blues club “Muddy Waters” in Oslo in the early 2000s. Billy was the head of the house band that backed many great American artists, and he became an important band leader for some of the best guitarists we have in Norway like Kid Andersen and Amund Maarud. He started Billy T Band about the same time as Muddy Waters closed down. They have had countless appearances on concert stages, from Oslo via Moscow to New York. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
His first band was called “The Post War Baby Boom Blues Band” with among others Paul Stanley (later Kiss) on guitars. Bill has also spent a long time playing with Eddie Kirkland and Tom Russell when he arrived in Norway. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
