Jonas Brekke is a singer-songwriter from the midlands of Norway, Trondheim. With a strong band, he has already made his mark as a brilliant live artist
His album debut was in 2022. The debut album “Tomorrow’s Avenue” received good reviews, and he and the band have played a number of concerts all over Norway. Jonas is working within the growing genre here in Norway called Nordicana, a Nordic variant of Americana. On stage they sound a little bit rougher and earlier this year they received extra attention during Nidaros Blues and Trondheim Calling, where the local paper Adressa’s conclusion was “Mighty good”. With him in the band is Jonas’ producer Pål Brekkås (bass), Alexander Pettersen (guitar) and Stian Marius Lundberg (drums), all with a past in the Trondheim based band The South.
