Rolling Thunder

Rolling Thunder has His Bobness to thank for everything—they play nothing but Dylan songs! It all started with Bob Dylan’s 70th birthday. “Shouldn’t we mark this day in a proper way?” some of the band members asked. And that’s exactly what happened. Building on the rock band The Blackbirds, Rolling Thunder has expanded its lineup.

Stylistically, they are in the same vein as Bob Dylan was during the legendary Rolling Thunder Revue tour, which visited the East and West Coasts of the United States in 1975 and 1976.

Rolling Thunder likes to think of Bob Dylan as a “rocker,” but they draw songs from virtually his entire catalog and perform them in their own style. Rolling Thunder is an ambitious name, but they live up to it in every way!
