Earl Thomas is an American blues and soul vocalist and songwriter. He has played several times in Norway with good success, and with his soulful voice and pleasant nature he earned the public’s favours. His songs are also recorded by artists such as Tom Jones, Etta James and Solomon Burke.
Thomas decided to follow the dream of becoming a singer after surviving a nasty fall accident. Nine years later, in 1991, he debuted with the album “Blue… Not Blues”. His passion for blues and soul has been noticed, and he has been nominated twice for the Grammy Award. Earl Thomas has played at festivals and toured both the US and England. Well, he is finally coming to Svalbard and Dark Season Blues.
