For health reasons, Mike Vernon unfortunately has to cancel this year’s Dark Season Blues. We wish Mike a speedy recovery and hope to see him in Longyearbyen at a later date.
Cat Squirrel, who was supposed to play alongside Vernon, is still coming as planned.
At the same time, we are pleased to announce that we have found a brilliant replacement: Mike Farris.
American Mike Farris made a strong impression when he visited Dark Season Blues for the first time in 2022. When asked to step in, he jumped at the chance and is now returning to Longyearbyen as a solo artist.

We’re also setting up an extra intimate concert with Mike Farris at Svalbard Museum:
