Blått & Rått, formed in Finnsnes in Troms in 1991, plays rock and blues rock with Norwegian lyrics. Next year marks the 30th anniversary of their self-titled debut album, and since then they have released seven studio albums. The song “Oppned” from the 1999 album of the same title has almost 300,000 plays on Spotify. The song “Fritt vilt” (2005) is part of the soundtrack in the Netflix movie “Viking Wolf” (2022).
The release of the album “Kjøter” in 2009 marked the start of a collaboration with Swedish Janne Bark, who was Ulf Lundell’s regular guitarist for 25 years. Bark has since toured Norway with the band several times. On the concert album “Så lenge det er live” (2011), he performs both the band’s songs and his own material. After the release of the album “Stifinner” in 2013 and a subsequent tour, it was decided that the band would retire. The break only lasted three years, and in 2020 the album “Peace, Love & kråkegull” was released. The band is reported to be working on a new album, and now they can also add Dark Season Blues to their concert CV.
