Øyvind Rønning has been writing about music since he was 15, and this year he turns 40 as a journalist and reviewer for Dagbladet.
He has played various roles at Dark Season Blues since 2006, and in recent years has interviewed festival artists from the stage. Previous interviewees include Super Chikan, Knut Reiersrud, Vidar Busk, Sven Zetterberg, Mike Zito, Stan Webb, J.T. Lauritsen, Monster Mike Welch, Mike Farris, D.K. Harrell and Walter Trout.
As in previous years, there will be a “blues bath” during the lunch concerts at Kroa on Friday and Saturday.
