Over the past 20 years, Erik Harstad has made a name for himself as one of Norway’s leading blues guitarists.
With bands such as the Buzz Brothers, Male Bluesband, Larsens Last Chance, and as a solo artist, he has performed at many of the country’s blues clubs and festivals, always giving the audience their money’s worth. Those hearing Harstad for the first time are blown away by his presence, emotion, and technique.
Erik plays with soul and incredible intensity. He means every single note he plays, and he demonstrates an unparalleled respect for his craft and for music.
This Friday at VinterBlues, Erik Harstad will take the stage with a band assembled especially for this event.
