Welcome to the world’s northernmost blues festival! From October 23rd to 26th, Longyearbyen will be filled with authentic blues vibes as Dark Season Blues celebrates its 22nd edition. The festival marks the beginning of the polar night with four magical days of music, northern lights, and community in unique Arctic surroundings.
This year’s lineup features stars like Walter Trout, Chicago blues legend John Primer, and producer icon Mike Vernon. Also joining are favorites such as Kat Riggins, Vanessa Collier, and The Kokomo Kings – and not least our very own JG Hansen, representing Svalbard with soul, intensity, and heartfelt presence.
