This year, our new guitar virtuoso is embarking on the biggest tour of his career so far, with concerts in Norway, Germany, Portugal and the US. Odin became nationally known in 2015 after he won the TV 2 success “Norske talenter”. In 2019, he released his debut album “Speilvendt” with Claudia Scott as producer. In 2022, he won the Union Blues Cup at the Notodden Blues Festival, in the following year he gave a concert in return. He comes to Longyearbyen with his band which in addition to Odin (guitar/vocals) consists of Haakon Landbakk (bass), August Nikolai Cancino (drums) and Marcus Flemmes (guitar).
Despite being only 21 years old, Odin has already built up a musical CV that commands respect. In 2023, he won the soloist award in the “Outstanding Soloists” category at the International Collegiate Guitar Ensemble Festival (ICGEF). His guitar ensemble at the University of Agder also won the Grand Prize.
Odin also plays in the more rock-oriented band Great Tide, who has a record deal with Norwegian Sound and has released a few singles and an EP.
